She enjoyed family and friends, especially spending time with her two grandsons. Vilene was an avid Minnesota Twins fan. She liked to work on jigsaw puzzles and puzzle books. She frequented garage sales. She enjoyed reading, listening to music, especially Christian music, and watching television and movies.
Throughout her life, Vilene loved to socialize with anyone she met. She would help anyone in need in any way she could. Most recently, that was evident by all the various staff at Park View Care Center nursing home, who came and told stories of how Vilene had touched their lives; and we as her family are so thankful for their excellent care of her. No matter what happened in her life, she never lost her faith and love for her God.
