HURON — Aberdeen Central recorded a sweep against the Huron wrestling teams on Tuesday at Huron Arena.
In the boys’ match, the Golden Eagles recorded a 55-12 win.
The Tigers had just three victories in the match.
Carter Nelson started things off for Huron with a pin at the 3:16 mark of his 113-pound match against Bailey Gillen.
Teagan Lien recorded a 9-5 decision for the Tigers at 144 against Brody Aesoph and Moses Gross tallied a 10-3 win against Mason Schrempp at 157.
In the girls’ match, Aberdeen Central emerged with a 56-6 victory.
The lone points for the Tigers came by virtue of a win by forfeit earned by Chalie Sah at 107.
The Huron teams will host Brandon Valley and Mitchell on Friday at Huron Arena. The Brandon Valley match will begin at 5 p.m., with the match against Mitchell to follow at 7 p.m.
