ABERDEEN — With five goals in the second period, Aberdeen recorded a 9-0 victory against the Huron All-Stars on Sunday.
The Cougars scored twice in the opening period, before adding to the advantage in the second period. They closed the game with a pair of goals in the final period.
Aberdeen recorded 35 shots on goal, with Huron goalie Kaleb Rashaad stopping 26 of theme.
Colton Townsend recorded the shutout for the Cougars with 15 saves.
The All-Stars, who are now 1-9, are off until the Moorhead Tournament, which is scheduled Dec. 29-31.
