Huron defeats Yankton Sunday

HURON — After building a 3-0 lead, the Huron All-Stars escaped with a 4-3 win against Yankton on Sunday at Bergman Arena.
Both teams went scoreless during the opening period.
The All-Stars broke the ice with three unassisted goals in the second period to carry a 3-0 advantage into the final period.
Elliot Hartman had the opening goal for Huron. Ethan Busch and Grady Bott then scored short-handed goals for the All-Stars just a minute apart.
The Bucks managed to slice their deficit to just a goal with the first two goals in the third period.
Bott would score the eventual game-winner for Huron, with Busch assisting on the play.
Yankton capped the scoring with the final goal.
The All-Stars, who are now 2-10, held a 28-21 shots-on-goal advantage in the game. Jack Bales earned the win with 18 saves in the net.
On Saturday, Brookings cruised to a 10-1 victory against Huron.
Busch had the lone goal for the All-Stars to open the scoring in the second period. He found the net on an unassisted shot.
Bales tallied 49 saves for the All-Stars.
Huron will travel to face Yankton at 8 p.m. Friday.
