Redfield 38, Stanley County 17
REDFIELD — Redfield hand Stanley County to just five points in the opening quarter en route to a 38-17 victory on Saturday during the Redfield Holiday Classic.

Katie Rozell had 20 points to lead the Pheasants, while Chloe Zens had nine points. Rozell and Zens shared the rebounding honors with six boards each.

Kierra Briggs had a pair of 3 points to lead the Lady Buffs with six points.

Redfield, which is now 4-3, travels to play Miller on Tuesday.

REDFIELD — Wolsey-Wessington earned its second win of the season with a 54-35 victory against Langford Area on Saturday during the Redfield Holiday Classic.

Payton Kemnitz had a game-high 20 points to lead three players in double figures for the Lady Warbirds, who are now 2-6.

Lainey Uttecht had 12 points, while Shae Uttecht added 10 points.

Megan Gustafson led Langford Area (2-5) with 19 points, while Alexandria Darling had 12 points.

Wolsey-Wessington will host Aberdeen Christian on Tuesday.

REDFIELD — McLaughlin improved to 7-2 with a 59-45 win against Hitchcock-Tulare at the Redfield Holiday Classic on Saturday.

Blake Thompson had 27 points to lead McLaughlin, while Jessie Brown Otter and Mari Richards added nine and eight points, respectively.

Cambree Hoekman had 19 points, including five 3-pointers, to lead the Lady Patriots, who are now 2-5.

Katelyn Schroeder also reached double figures with 13 points and had a team-high eight rebounds.

Hitchcock-Tulare hosts Warner in Tulare on Tuesday.

HIGHMORE — The Highmore-Harrold Pirates girls outscored the Sully Buttes Chargers 33-21 in the second half to come away with a 58-42 win Friday in Highmore.

Autumn Fallis led three Pirates (4-4) in double figures with 15 points while dishing out seven assists. Jade Baloun had 14 points and Kendall Cermak bucketed 10 points.

Addison McDonnell led the Pirates with six rebounds.

No individual stats were available for Sully Buttes, who falls to 4-3

The Pirates won the junior varsity game 37-23.

Highmore-Harrold is off until the 281 Conference tournament, beginning Friday.
