De Smet 67, Baltic 32
COLMAN — De Smet won its third straight game with a 67-32 victory against Baltic in the Entringer Scholarship Classic on Saturday.

Hazel Luethmers led the Lady Bulldogs with 25 points, including five 3-pointers. She also had 11 rebounds and eight steals.

Brooke Jennings had nine points and six rebounds for De Smet, while Ivey Schoenfelder also had nine points. Megan Dylla and Mirra Beck each had seven points and Alyssa Asleson had six points and four steals.

The Lady Bulldogs, who are now 3-1, will travel to play Dell Rapids St. mary today.

James Valley Christian 59, Sunshine Bible Academy 35
MILLER - The James Valley Christian Vikings picked up their first victory of the season with a 59-35 win over the Sunshine Bible Academy Crusaders Friday at the SBA Event Center in 281 Conference regular season action.

The Vikings move to 1-1 behind 19 points from Jerrad Wallman. Davis Chase added nine points off the bench.

Ethan Bartolow secured seven rebounds to lead JVC and Gavin Waldner nabbed seven steals.

SBA fell to 0-3 on the year despite a game-high 20 points and seven steals from Trey Theiman, including six three-point baskets.

The Crusaders will travel to Sioux Falls Lutheran today while the Vikings are now off until the Huron Holiday Classic on Dec. 30.
