De Smet 63, Hills-Beaver Creek 45
ELKTON — Four players reached double figures as De Smet recorded a 63-45 victory against Hills-Beaver Creek (Minn.) during the Dakota Valley Conference Classic on Saturday.
The Bulldogs, who are ranked No. 3 in Class B, led 36-20 at the half.
George Jensen had 23 points ad 12 rebounds to lead De Smet.
Also reaching double figures were Grant Wilkinson with 15, Kadyn Fast with 13 and Britt Carlson with 10.
Tom Aughenbaugh had four assists for the Bulldogs, who are now 16-3.
Beau Bakken led Hills-Beaver Creek with nine points, while Sawyer Bosch added eight points.
De Smet faces Oldham-Ramona-Rutland in Rutland on Friday.

Lucas Pesky had six 3-pointers en route to a game-high 24 points for the Sharks, who are now 3-14.
Josh McMasters added 20 points for Iroquois/Lake Preston.
Pesky also had a team-high 10 rebounds to help the Sharks to a 45-35 advantage on the boards.
Blake Madsen led Arlington, which is also 3-14, with 21 points. Rheault had 16 points and eight rebounds.
The Sharks hosts Colman-Egan in Lake Preston today. Arlington hosts Chester on Tuesday.

WILLOW LAKE — Luke Sheppard had 22 points and eight rebounds to lead Flandreau to a 50-31 victory against Clark/Willow Lake on Saturday.
Paul Parsley also reached double figures for the Fliers (11-7) with 10 points.
Emmerson Larson had 11 points to lead Clark/Willow Lake, which is now 9-7.
Aaron Zemlicka had nine points and seven rebounds.
Griffen Musser had a team-high three assists for the Cyclones.
Both teams return to action Tuesday. Flandreau hosts Baltic, while Clark/Willow Lake travels to play Aberdeen Roncalli.
