Iroquois/Lake Preston claims win against Lady Vikings
LAKE PRESTON — The Iroquois/Lake Preston Sharks jumped out to a 22-10 halftime lead en route to a 43-21 victory over the James Valley Christian Lady Vikings in 281 Conference regular season action Saturday in Lake Preston.
The Sharks move to 4-10 behind 13 points for Kera Dubro. Hadlee Holt added eight points.
The Lady Vikings fall to 0-11. Janiyah Waldner led JVC with nine points.
JVC hosts Ethan tonight and the Sharks host Wessington Springs on Tuesday.

TULARE — The Faulkton Area Trojans moved to 9-5 on the season with a 50-44 victory over the Hitchcock-Tulare Lady Patriots Saturday in Tulare.
The Trojans were led by Anika Mueller with 18 points. Carley Cotton chipped in 17 points.
The Lady Patriots (5-9) were led by Katelyn Schroeder with 22 points. Emmerie Arthurs added 10 points.
Hitchcock-Tulare travels to James Valley Christian Tuesday.

MILLER — Trailing by one at half, the Sunshine Bible Academy Crusaders outscored the Aberdeen Christian Knights 28-16 in the second half to come away with a 47-36 victory Friday at the SBA Event Center.
SBA moved to 3-9 behind 13 points each from Ciera Mickelson and Tessa Hinman. Breanna Thieman had 10 points.
Ciera Mickelson snagged a game-high 11 rebounds. Abby Hinman pulled in 10 rebounds and had six steals and six assists.
The Knights fell to 0-13. Sophia Eichler led the Knights with 14 points and 10 rebounds before fouling out.
The Crusaders host Highmore-Harrold Tuesday.

No. 1 Chargers cruise past Clark/Willow Lake
MADISON - The Sioux Falls Christian Chargers, ranked No. 1 in Class A, flexed their muscle with a 71-44 victory over the fifth-ranked Clark/Willow Lake Cyclones Saturday in Madison as part of the DAK XII/NEC clash.
Cooper Goodbury led the Chargers, now 13-0, with 15 points.
The Cyclones fell to 12-3 despite 13 points and nine rebounds from Bo Begeman. Chris Bevers added 11 points.
The Cyclones are back in action Friday, hosting Sisseton in Clark.

LAKE PRESTON - In a fast-paced 281 Conference regular season matchup Saturday, the Iroquois/Lake Preston Sharks defeated the James Valley Christian Vikings 89-74 in Lake Preston
The Sharks move to 6-7 behind 32 points, seven steals, and seven assists from Lucas Peskey. Carter Arbeiter had 19 points and Peyton Hope chipped in 14.
JVC fell to 6-6 despite 36 points from Jerrad Wallman. Huntley Steele added 15 points and Jayvin Van Scharrel bucketed 13 points.
The Vikings host Ethan tonight and the Sharks host Wessington Springs Tuesday.

HIGHMORE - The Ipswich Tigers jumped out to a 15-4 margin after the first quarter on the way to winning their sixth straight game, a 46-34 victory over the Highmore-Harrold Pirates Saturday in Highmore.
The Tigers, now 9-5, were led by Tucker Kadlec with 17 points and six rebounds. Jaxon Holt added 12 points.
Highmore-Harrold fell to 3-9 despite 17 points from Caleb Roth. Roth and Brooks McPeak each grabbed six rebounds.
The Pirates travel to face Sunshine Bible Tuesday.

WILLOW LAKE — The Clark/Willow Lake Cyclones exploded ut of the gates with a 30-9 first quarter and never looked back in an 82-30 victory over the Redfield Pheasants Friday in Willow Lake.
Four Cyclones reached double-figure scoring, led by Emmerson Larson and Chris Bevers with 14 points apiece. Bo Begeman added 12 points and Sully Felberg added 10 points.
Felberg had six rebounds to lead the Cyclones (12-2), who dominated the boards with a 50-16 advantage over the Pheasants. Bevers had six assists and four steals for C/WL.
The Pheasants fall to 0-12, despite a game-high 17 points from Ruben Alvarez. Ethan Falk had eight points and led Redfield with five rebounds.
Redfield will travel to Potter County Tuesday.

DE SMET —The De Smet Bulldogs and Colman-Egan Hawks were tied at the end of the first half and headed into the fourth quarter, but the Bulldogs were able to outlast the Hawks for a 53-49 victory Friday in De Smet.
De Smet moves to 5-6 behind 26 points and 17 rebounds from Grant Wilkinson. Samuel Gigov dished out four assists.
The Hawks fell to 5-8 despite three players in double figures, led by Jas Mousel with 18 points. Jackson Zwart had 16 points and Caden Zwart had 14 points. Jackson Zwart led C-E with eight rebounds.
The Bulldogs host Canistota tonight.
