Parkston 54, Wolsey-Wessington 0
WOLSEY - A matchup of the top-ranked team in Class “9AA” and the top-ranked team in Class “9A” was not much of a game as the Parkston Trojans scored a 54-0 victory over the Wolsey-Wessington Warbirds in a game ended by score rules.
Class 9AA Parkston moves to 3-0 with the victory.
The Trojans held the home team to just 28 total yards of offense.
The Warbirds dropped to 2-1. Quarterback Caleb Richmond threw for 27 yards on 6 of 15 passing. Gabriel Case led the Warbirds on the ground with 11 yards on a pair of carries.
Wolsey-Wessington will travel to De Smet on Sept. 15.

De Smet 32, Dell Rapids St. Mary 14
DE SMET - The De Smet Bulldogs defeated the Dell Rapids St. Mary Cardinals 32-14 Friday in a matchup of Class “9B” ranked teams.
The second-ranked Bulldogs move to 2-1 while rolling up 232 total yards. Kadyn Fast ran for 71 yards and a pair of scores, hauled in 33 yards of receptions and a touchdown, and he also returned a punt for a touchdown.
Britt Carlson passed for 59 yards, a touchdown, and a 2-point conversion for De Smet while also running for 36 yards. Slayten Wilkinson led the De Smet defense with 17 tackles.
The Cardinals (1-2) were led by Nic Gaspar with 105 yards and a touchdown on the ground.
The Bulldogs travel to Rutland to play Oldham-Ramona-Rutland on Friday.
Sully Buttes 62, Sunshine Bible Academy 32
MILLER — There was a lot of scoring Friday afternoon, as the Sully Buttes Chargers rolled to a 62-32 win of the Sunshine Bible Academy Crusaders in non-conference football action.
Sully Buttes ran for 347 yards in the game, led by Gavin Barber, who had 14 carries for 300 yards and five touchdowns. The Chargers’s quarterback Wesley Wittler threw for 135 yards, one interception and two more scores.
For the Crusaders, they had 292 yards through the air, as quarterback Dominic Kalancinski was 16-41 with two scores. SBA had 132 yards on the ground, led by Troy Paul who carried 27 times for 80 yards and a score.
