Region 2B
Wolsey-Wessington 3, De Smet 0
WOLSEY – The top-seeded Wolsey-Wessington Lady Warbirds made short work of the De Smet Bulldogs in Region 2B action Tuesday, sweeping the Bulldogs 25-8, 25-8, and 25-20 in Wolsey.
The Lady Warbirds move to 27-4. Lainey Uttecht was perfect from service line for the Lady ‘Birds, going 22 of 22 with five aces. Shae Uttecht added four aces on 14 of 14 serving and also had 14 digs to pace the defense.

Kailynn Dorris was 23 of 25 hitting with 12 kills for the Lady Warbirds, while Samara Clemente was 11 of 12 hitting for five kills and also had four blocks.
De Smet finishes the season 4-24. Hazel Luethmers had nine kills and a pair of blocks for the Bulldogs while Megan Dylla had a pair of service aces and had eight assists.
Wolsey-Wessington will host Arlington Thursday in the Region 2B semifinal.

Region 1B
Hitchcock-Tulare 3, Langford Area 0
TULARE – The Hitchcock-Tulare Lady Patriots won their Region 1B opening match Tuesday over the Langford Area Lions, 25-12, 25-12, and 25-22 in Tulare.
The Lady Patriots move to 23-7 behind Katelyn Schroeder’s 17 kills on 33 of 37 hitting. Schroeder recorded her 1,000th career kill in the match. She also led the Hitchcock-Tulare defense with 19 digs.
Isabel Gilbert was 12 of 13 hitting for H-T with eight kills and also had six blocks. Lila Johnson had 30 assists on 83 of 86 setting.
The Lady Patriots were led at the service line by Ella Johnson with three aces on 12 of 14 serving.
Gracyn Bixler added a pair of aces on 20 of 22 serving.
The Lions finish the season at 12-21. Elliana Darling was 21 of 22 hitting with four kills. Bayleann Moen led the defense with 18 digs and a pair of blocks.
Hitchcock-Tulare will match up with Northwestern Thursday in the Region 1B semifinal.

The Rustlers, who improved to 26-6, cruised to the victory with set scores of 25-9, 25-3 and 25-10.
Paige Werdel amassed 15 kills on 25 of 28 hits to lead Miller. Aleah Schlechter was 13 of 15 hitting with eight kills, while Gracen Werdel was 13 of 14 attacking with seven kills.
Schlechter also recorded seven aces on 20 of 22 serving for the Rustlers, who tallied 18 aces in the match. Heather Resel was 15 of 17 serving with three aces, while Shaylee Anderberg was 13 of 15 with three aces and Jolie Palmer was 13 of 15 with two aces.
Resel converted on 65 of 65 sets and finished with 31 assists for Miller. Palmer tallied five digs, while Schlechter had three digs.
The Rustlers will host fourth-seeded Dupree or fifth-seeded North Central in the Region 6A semifinals on Thursday.
