Pirates, Crusaders participate in Pierre meet
PIERRE –– The Highmore-Harrold Pirates and Sunshine Bible Academy Crusaders participated in the Bob Judson Invitational track meet Tuesday in Pierre.

Autumn Fallis and Addison McDonnell of Highmore-Harrold each had two individual places, with Fallis finishing second in the 1600-meter run and third in 300-meter hurdles. McDonnell placed sixth in shot put and fifth in discus.

Tarrance Mickelson of SBA won the only Heartland-area individual title on the day, clearing 38-feet, 8-inches to win the triple jump. Teammate Jimmy Burma placed third in the 800-meter run and seventh in javelin.

Highmore-Harrold’s Brooks McPeak earned two individual places, finishing second in the 3200-meter run and fourth in the 1600-meter run.
