HURON — The state did not have COVID-19 numbers released by the South Dakota Department of Health (DOH) due to the Juneteenth holiday on Friday, so the DOH numbers Monday were the first numbers since last Thursday.
The state reported 19 new positive cases and 29 new recovered cases. This dropped the active cases in the state to 154.
Beadle County added no new positive cases while adding one new recovered case. This brought the county’s active cases down to one.
The Heartland Region added one new positive case across the seven counties in the region and added two new recovered cases, dropping the active cases in the region to four.
