HURON — The Huron Hockey Association and Huron All-Stars hockey team hosted a total of 38 young novice skaters Saturday, in a special “Try Hockey for Free” event at Bergman Arena.

Try Hockey for Free was a chance for youngsters to strap on skates and padding, skate around the ice at Bergman Arena, and find out whether joining the Huron All-Star hockey program is something they may be interested in doing.

On hand to help were a bevy of volunteers, including members of the Huron All-Star varsity hockey teams, to offer encouragement and instruction to the young skaters. The Huron Hockey Association thanks all who came out and tried hockey and the volunteers who made it all happen.
