BRANDON VALLEY — The Huron Tigers won four matches - two by the boys and two in the girls’ dual Friday night, as the Brandon Valley Lynx held serve with a 63-12 win over Huron in the boys’ match, and earned a 39-12 win in the girls’ contest.
Huron’s win in the girls dual came from Aleshka Oyola-Rodriquez at 120 pounds and Kaleleigh Bowden at 138 pounds, both by forfeit. Both teams forfeited three weight classes and Brandon won six of the other seven matches by pinfall.
The wins in the boys’ match for Huron came from Shar Ler Moo Ser, with an 8-1 decision at 175 pounds, over Andrew Gray of Brandon Valley. And Moses Gross rolled over Xavier McGuire with a 20-5 tech fall at 150 for the Tigers.
Huron will be back in action today, at the 13-team Brandon Valley Dan Pansach Invitational.
