LANE — Christopher L. Wahl, of Lane, passed away Saturday, March 16, 2024, at the age of 61.
His memorial service was held Tuesday, March 26, at Basham Funeral Home in Wessington Springs.
Chris was born December 5, 1962, in Huron to LeRoy and Lorene (Jenner) Wahl.
He was a graduate of Huron High School and attended Phoenix Institute of Technology.
He enjoyed baking bread, pizza, ice cream, fishing, TV sports, trips to the library, birdwatching, gardening, working on cars, and his cat family. But his greatest joy was found in helping friends and neighbors.
He is survived by his mother, Lorene Cavigielli and sisters, Laurie (Randy) McMillan, Stacy Wahl, stepbrothers, Jim (Denise) and Gary (Cathy) Cavigielli, a step-sister Linda Parsley and their families.
Preceding him in death was his father, LeRoy E. Wahl, stepfather, Jim Cavigielli and grandparents Emil and Dorothy Jenner and Chris and Pauline Wahl.
