The Connecting Cultures group will meet at 7 p.m. on Tuesday, Oct. 3, at Our Savior’s Lutheran Church to begin planning its Winter Event. All community members are invited to come and help plan the event, which strives to showcase the integration of community members from cultures that have existed here hundreds of years with newer neighbors.

On Aug. 24, more than 15 vendors shared their culture and delicious foods at the annual Family Night in Campbell Park Food Event. Hundreds of attendees enjoyed the largest variety of food booths to date. In addition to sharing their culture, vendors contributed 10% of sales to non-profit organizations, contributing more than $500 to local charities.
