HURON – Beadle County commissioners on Wednesday approved a variance request filed by Lori Rathjen and Lean Investments Inc. of Huron to allow three to four future buildings constructed at 1075 Lincoln Ave. S.W. to be closer to a property line than allowed.
Under construction now is a structure that will have space for four businesses.
The variance is for three or four additional buildings that would be located to the west of the structure under construction to be used for rental storage.
Commissioners approved her request to build the future structures 20 feet from the property line rather than the code-required 30 feet.
