The Huron Area Concert Association presents the fourth concert of the season as they welcome the Doo Wah Riders to Huron.
This concert will be 7:30 p.m. Saturday, Feb. 1, at Huron High School auditorium.
This group consists of five members: a keyboard, accordion, harmonica and vocal; a fiddle and keyboard; a bass and vocal; drummer; and guitar and vocal.
This concert will be high energy country with a Cajun twist. For over 40 years, the Doo Wah Riders have been based in Southern California, riding their own patch of the musical range. Tight musicianship and powerful arrangements of classic and original songs have made them favorites everywhere they go.
HACA is offering a $250 scholarship to any graduating high school student who will be majoring or minoring in music education. The deadline is March 1, 2025. To apply, go to the HACA website at www.huronareaconcertassociation.com. For more information, call 1 (605) 868 0881.
