'Dunk for Dialysis' planned on Wednesday

Posted

HURON — Carnival-style games, including “Dunk for Dialysis” with local physicians, are planned at Food Truck Wednesday at 5:30 p.m. in Campbell Park.

Dunk Tank attempts will be sold, with all proceeds supporting dialysis in Huron.

Every 15 minutes a different doctor from the Huron area will take his or her place above the dunk tank and let people take their best shot.

The event begins at 5:30 p.m. with Dr. Cy Haatvedt perched above the dunk tank, followed by Dr. Megan Hartman, Dr. Vincent Oyler, Dr. Julio Guerra, Dr. Anthony Loewen, Dr. Kevin Hofer, DNP Rebekah Storm, Dr. Wayne Carr, DNP Danielle Rathjen, Dr. Joe Engelhart, and Huron School Superintendent Dr. Kraig Steinhoff, as the final dunking candidate at 8 p.m.
