HURON — Juniors Blake Ellwein and Hylton Heinz were named to the Eastern South Dakota Conference Basketball teams for Huron.

Ellwein was the lone selection for the Tigers on the All-ESD boys’ team.

Also named to the boys’ team were seniors Landon Dulaney and Mach Mayen of Brandon Valley; seniors Kaden Anderson and Nolan Krull of Harrisburg; seniors Gavin Hinker and Markus Talley of Mitchell; senior Luke Olson of Pierre and senior Marshal Smythe and sophmore Griffin Wiebenga of Tea Area.

Heinz was the lone representative on the All-ESD girls’ team for the Tigers.

Also named to the All-ESD girls’ team were sophomore Lauryn Burckhard and junior Lauryn Hermansen of Aberdeen Central; juniors Alyvia Padgett and Gracie Salter of Brandon Valley; senior Logan Smidt of Brookings; senior Makinley Lawrenson of Harrisburg; junior Addie Siemsen of Mitchell; senior Lennix DuPris of Pierre; and senior Emery Thury of Watertown.

Sophomore Eden Wolfgram of Yankton received honorable mention.
