HURON — Next week marks the annual Scarecrow Festival in Campbell Park.
In addition to inspecting the scarecrow displays in the park, then casting your vote for the People’s Choice Award, the Huron Public Library has other activities planned.
On Friday, Oct. 6, enjoy a live reading of spooky stories and tall tales outdoors at the library.
After the stories, enjoy an outdoor presentation of the classic movie “The Wizard of Oz.”
Bring a lawn chair or blanket and dress to avoid the chill and stay warm.
Snacks and apple cider will be provided.
Businesses or organizations who wish to have a scarecrow display may get information, guidelines and register at the library.
