Employees at the Huron Federal Building recognized the 23rd Anniversary of Sept. 11, “Patriot Day,” by participating in a flag-raising ceremony Wednesday morning in front of the Federal Building, including “A Moment of Remembrance.”
Bev Helm welcomed everyone, reflecting upon the events that occurred 23 years ago and how it has affected lives and the country today. “Remember the past, but don’t let it keep us from our future.” A minute of silence was observed, following the Pledge of Allegiance, to reflect upon the spirit of this day.
This program was sponsored by the Huron Interagency Federal Employees Program Council.
