Fire destroyed a storage site and its contents Wednesday afternoon at Second Street and Illinois Avenue Wednesday. The building, owned by Dakota Water Softening, and was storing a car, a semi, two dump trucks and other assorted supplies. The cause of the fire remains under investigation. Firefighters remained on the scene until 8 p.m.
