Near perfect weather conditions made for a memorable July 4 fireworks display over Ravine Lake Tuesday night. In this image captured by Plainsman photographer Mike Carroll, the exploding ball of fireworks high above the lake is reflected on the glass-like surface of the lake. Cars lined the streets and parking area in the vicinity of the show.
