HURON — A flood warning is in effect along the James River in Huron and Forestburg.
The James River in Huron was at 15.69 feet, with major flooding occurring.
Flood stage is 11 feet. The river is expected to crest at 18.9 feet by Saturday, then begin falling. At stages near 19.5 feet, the water reaches the bottom of the bridge at the gaging location.
