HURON — Greater Huron Development Corporation (GHDC) encourages Huron and area residents to remember to patronize their favorite downtown businesses during the time of downtown construction this year.
All downtown businesses are open as work continues on Dakota Ave., with many having back entrances to utilize.
Those without back doors are accessible via a safe sidewalk on the street side.
GHDC also is encouraging downtown businesses to utilize the facade grant available for downtown businesses.
GHDC President/CEO Ted Haeder reminds businesses that the grant can be utilized to improve a rear entrance to the business to aid with customer access during the construction of Dakota Ave.
