DE SMET — The Hamlin Chargers, the third-ranked team in Class “A”, dominated the second and fourth quarters by a combined 38-20 score to pull out a 64-46 over the De Smet Bulldogs Tuesday in De Smet.
The Bulldogs fall to 8-2 while Hamlin moves to 7-2.
The Chargers put four players into double-digit scoring, led by Easten Neuendorf with 20 points and 10 rebounds.
Tyson Stevenson added 17 points while Evan Stormo chipped in 12 and Jackson Wadsworth had 11.
De Smet was led by George Jensen with 12 points. Kadyn Fast and Grant Wilkinson each had 10 points.
Wilkinson grabbed a game-high 12 rebounds.
The Bulldogs will play St. Thomas More, which is ranked No. 5 in Class A, at 2:30 p.m. Saturday as part of the Hanson Classic at the Corn Palace in Mitchell.
