HARRISBURG — Harrisburg emerged with a sweep against the Huron wrestling teams on Thursday.

Harrisburg won all but two of the matches in the boys’ competition to claim a 60-12 victory.

Earning wins for Huron were Moses Gross and Bryan Ramirez.

Gross ended his 150-pound match with a pin against Dylan Johnson of Harrisburg with nine seconds remaining in the opening period.

Ramirez ended his match at 215 against Nile Laake of Harrisburg at the 1:21 mark of the opening round.

Harrisburg recorded a 54-18 victory against the Huron girls.

Kayeleigh Bowden earned a win at 138 for Huron with a pin at the 3:39 mark against Teagan Bowers of Harrisburg.

Kaitlyn Florey stopped her match against Alexandra Thurston at the 2:47 mark at 250.

Naw Htoo Ywe won by forfeit for Huron at 100.

Huron will return to action Tuesday with a double dual against Dell Rapids and Madison in Dell Rapids.
