WATERTOWN — Harrisburg used a score of 149.300 to edge Mitchell, which had 148.675 for the top spot during the Eastern South Dakota Conference Gymnastics Meet on Saturday.

Watertown was third at 142.850, followed by Pierre at 138.550; Brookings at 137.600; Yankton at 134.775; Aberdeen Central at 134.325 and Huron at 124.100.

Katelyn Maeschen won the all-around title for Harrisburg with a score of 38.625. She also won the vault with a 9.625 and shared the top spot in the floor exercsie with a 9.675.

Bentley Bates of Mitchell won the bars with a 9.750 and the beam with a 9.775. She also tied for the top spot in floor exercise with a 9.675.

Cameron Ruth led Huron in the all-around with a 32.650, while Eastyn Eichstadt finished at 31.575. Ellie Puterbaugh turned in a 30.050 and Alivia Cunard finished at 29.025.

Ruth led the Tigers on the vault with an 8.800, on the bars with an 8.375 and in the floor exercise with an 8.350.

Eichstadt turned in an 8.725 on the vault and an 8.150 in the floor exercise for Huron.

Puterbaugh led the Tigers on the beam with a 7.900, while Maria Wilson followed with a 7.650.

Huron will participate in a Last Chance Meet at 5 p.m. Tuesday in Aberdeen, before closing the season at the Class AA State Meet on Feb. 9-10 in Pierre.
