H/D Ringnecks, of Huron, hosted its fifth annual Youth Tower Pheasant Shoot (above) on Saturday, Oct. 7, and the fifth annual Military Veterans Tower Pheasant Shoot (above) on Saturday, Nov. 4, north of Huron. 

The youth hunters were taught hunting and gun safety while shooting at pheasants released from a tower.

This event is free to the youth hunters and is sponsored by many local businesses.

The Veteran’s event welcomed area active and retired soldiers. H/D Ringnecks released 100 birds for each of the events. This event is also free for the military personal. H/D Ringnecks is owned by Wayne Hofer, Roger Decker and Mike Hofer.
