Heartland football players earn academic recognition

SIOUX FALLS — The South Dakota Football Coaches Association has released its academic All-State team for the 2024 season.

The requirements are players or managers must be a senior, with a 3.5 grade point average and be a three-year participant, nominated by the player’s coach. 

Earning recognition among Heartland athletes are:

Hitchcock-Tulare - Blaze Binger, Mikael Nielson

Huron - Colton McNeil, Kolby Hofer, Logan Leyendecker, Micah Larson

Woonsocket/Wessington Springs/Sanborn Central - Holden Havlik, Bryce Larson, Ryder Michalek, Tyson Eddy, Caleb Kneen, Rylan Grassel, Kade Olinger

Miller/Highmore/Harrold - Kellan Hurd, Marshall Conkey, Morgan Kolda, Miles McPeak, Caleb Roth, Ty Crago

Wolsey/Wessington - Moshe Richmond, Ashton Hill, Colin Hughes, Peyton Rainford, Harley Roberts, Isaiah Sabalier, Keaton Zomer.
