HURON — The Huron Middle School girls’ basketball teams hosted the Watertown Arrows Thursday afternoon at the middle school gym.

The Arrows were poor guests, taking three of four from the Tigers.

In the “A” game, Huron got 12 points from Jayla Schley and nine from Ramsey Rozell.

Autumn Siedschlag and Laney Marshall each scored six points for Huron in the “B” contest.

Eighth grade
Huron’s “A” team emerged with a 35-24 win in a high scoring matchup with the Arrows. Huron had four players in the scoring column, led by Lennon Magness-Caudell’s 11 points, while Claire Davis added 10 points. Reagan Bischoff chalked up eight points and Maggie Storm had six points.

In the “B” game, the Tigers struggled to score, dropping a 29-6 game to the Arrows. Kinsley Armstrong scored four points and Charleigh Brewer added the other two for Huron.

The girls’ teams are back in action on Saturday, when they travel to Mitchell.
