Orchestra at the Huron Middle School has had an outstanding year!

The HMS orchestra director is Dr. Beth Neitzert. Join them for a Middle School and High School Orchestra Concert on Tuesday, April 29, at the Huron High School Auditorium at 7 p.m.

Many students from the orchestras auditioned and three were selected for the South Dakota Music Education Association Middle School All State Orchestra. Congratulations to Mara Pell (cello), Lydia Beck (cello), and Taiyen Red Blanket (bass).  

Huron Middle School Honors Orchestra has had many great accomplishments. Honors orchestra is a smaller chamber group of eighth-grade students who auditioned for a seat in the fall. They performed at Christmas at the Capitol in December and will perform for elementary school students and at other community locations on May 5.
