HURON — Students at Huron Middle School competed in the Brookings Oral Interp event on April 6. All 12 students performed very well.
The results are as follows:
• Seventh grade solo humorous: Lydia Beck - Superior Plus; Carli Winegar - Superior Plus
• Eighth grade solo humorous: Avery Ashbaugh - Superior Plus; Ava Rathjen-Colon - Superior
• Eighth grade solo serious: Emmersyn McGillvrey - Superior Plus
• Seventh- and eighth-grade duet: Avery Ashbaugh and Carli Winegar - Superior Plus; Idella Meyer and Ava Rathjen-Colon - Superior Plus; Colby Casper and Liberty Doerr - Superior; Nevaeh Garcia and Jaycee Hofer-Tschetter - Superior; Michelle Lee and Nitascha Peiffer - Excellent Plus.
