Hometown Hero's Award presented to Huron Hockey

HURON — Huron Hockey Association was awarded with the Hometown Hero’s award from the South Dakota Community Foundation.

The South Dakota Community Foundation’s Legacy Society honors and recognizes those who have made planned gifts to the SDCF. It’s their way of thanking donors now for their efforts to make South Dakota a better place in the future.

Since 1987, the South Dakota Community Foundation has worked with generous people wanting to give their neighbors a better place to call home.

Their Hometown Heroes are a particular group of people passionate about helping communities grow and thrive. They have played a vital role in strengthening the SDCF and the entire state of South Dakota by inspiring others to help improve the lives of others

SDCF is a public non-profit organization established in 1987. SDCF, with offices in Pierre, Rapid City, Sioux Falls and Aberdeen administers 1,200 funds benefiting hundreds of charitable organizations annually.
