HURON — The Huron Federated Music Club has awarded $300 in scholarships to be used for summer music camps.

Recipients and their respective camps include:
• SD Honors Choir: Cameron Cutshaw

Individual recipients must be students of HFMC members. HFMC is an affiliate of the National Federation of Music Clubs and sponsors the Huron Area Junior Festival held in the spring and a recital in late fall/winter. The scholarships are funded by donations received at the recitals.

HFMC teachers include Beverly Bigge, Kristi Kattner, Tori Larson, Trish Larson and Barb Valer.
