Huron schools share info on final days of school this week

HURON — And suddenly, the middle of May is upon us and the Huron School District has released information pertaining to the final days of the school year.
According to Superintendent Dr. Kraig Steinhoff, here is what is planned.
Elementary Schools - Report cards will be distributed to students on Friday, May 17, the final day of school for Grades K-5. Students will be released at 1:15 that day.
Students who will not be in school Friday may bring a stamped, self-addressed enveloped to their respective school’s office and have their report cards mailed to them.
Middle school - Early release at 1:30 p.m. on Friday, the last day of school. Report cards will be mailed after May 29.
High School - Students will check out Friday, May 17, beginning with seniors at 7:30 a.m. Report cards will be mailed after May 29.
Administration offices, Activity Director office, Huron High School and Huron Middle School will remain open through the summer.
Elementary buildings are open through May 24 and will repoen July 30.
