Huron 7th graders earn one victory Thursday

HURON — The Huron seventh-grade volleyball team pulled out one win in three matches against Aberdeen Central on Thursday.
The Tigers won the A-match 2-1, using set scores of 25-21, 13-25 and 15-13.
Ramsey Rozell had a pair of aceson 13 of 14 serves for Huro, while Talley Hins was 3 of 5 serving with an ace. Jayla Schley converted on 12 of 14 serves, while Autumn Siedschlag was 8 of 10 and Arian Pfitzer was 6 of 7 and Lana Sharry was 5 of 5 serving.
Aberdeen Central used set scores of 25-11 and 25-18 to win the B-match.
Cora Wilk was perfect on four serves for the Tigers. Taylor Sorben was 4 of 5 serving, while Eh Khu Shee was 4 of 6 and Jesse Mattke was 3 of 5.
The Golden Eagles won 25-21 and 25-13 in the C-match.
Neveah Garcia had eight points to lead Huron, while Ovilla Mendoza had five points, including an ace. Hser Htoo had five points, while Hannah Paw and Laney Marshall added four and two points, respectively.
