Huron soccer travels to Yankton

YANKTON — The Huron Tiger boys’ soccer team put one in the win column Tuesday afternoon, as Mister Min scored five minutes before the half, with an assist from Ronaldo Pineda, and goal keeper Eh Ja Beh Win made it stand up through the second half for a 1-0 win over the Yankton Bucks.
“It was a great game by our boys tonight,” said Huron coach Leah Branaugh. “They did a great job possessing the ball and really made some heads=up plays. We need to use the momentum going forward in our weekend games and into next week.”
Eh Ja Beh Win stopped six Yankton shots on goal to earn the win.
In the JV game, Huron took a 5-3 win, as Tobias Ramos Soto notched a hat trick. Efrain Cuevas Soto and Hei Moo Soe also had goals for Huron and goal tender JAcon Andru earned the win with two saves.
The Huron girls came up short, dropping a 10-0 decision to the Gazelles.
Baw Law Eh had 10 saves in goal the first half and Naw Soe had 6 saves in goal the second half for Huron.
The JV game went to Yankton by the same score.
Huron is on the road at S.F. Roosevelt on Saturday.
