BROOKINGS - Brandon Valley won the dance competition and Harrisburg won the cheer competition at Saturday’s Brookings Invite.

Harrisburg won the cheer competition with 273 points, edging out Sioux Falls Jefferson, who totaled 270.

Brookings and O’Gorman tied for third with 260.5 points.

Brandon Valley cruised to a win in the dance competition with 280 points, outpacing Sioux Falls Washington’s 267. Yankton finished third with 266.75 and Harrisburg fourth with 264.75.

Huron finished 14th in dance with 216.5 points, receiving 222 points in the hip hop competition and 211 points in jazz.

The Tigers will host the Huron Invitational Tuesday.
