HARRISBURG — The Huron girls’ wrestling team finished seventh during the Eastern South Dakota Conference Tournament on Thursday in Harrisburg.

The Tigers had 42 points to finish a point behind Mitchell for the sixth spot.

Pierre amassed 150 points to claim the ESD title. Harrisburg finished at 125.5 to edge Watertown by a half a point for second. Aberdeen Central was fourth at 120, followed by Brookings at 58.

Chalie Sah at 107 pounds and Paola Fernandez at 185 both finished third for Huron, while Naw Htoo Ywe was fourth at 100.

The Tigers will close the season at the Class A State Tournament, which is slated for Feb. 22-24 in Sioux Falls.
