MITCHELL — Harrisburg edged O’Gorman by a stroke to claim the title during the Mitchell Invitational on Friday at Lakeview Golf Course.
Pierre was third in the 20-team field, four strokes behind O’Gorman. Mitchell and Brandon Valley rounded out the top five.
Huron was 20th in the final standings.
O’Gorman’s Mac Drake earned the medalist honors with a 70, while Riley Christensen of Harrisburg and Nick Bothun of Pierre shared the second spot with scores of 71.
Cole Brust of Aberdeen Central was fourth at 72. Harrisburg teammates Hayden Scott and Charlie Swift shared the fifth spot with scores of 73.
Aiden Zavesky led Huron with an 86, which put him in a five-way tied for spot No. 66.
Jack Bales carded a 91 for the Tigers, while Kolten Ogle finished at 100.
Rounding out the lineup for Huron were Riley Jankord at 108, Ben Kleinsasser at 109 and Grady Bott at 115.
The Tigers will travel to compete in the Watertown Invite at 10 a.m. Tuesday.
