HURON — Athletes wishing to play fifth and sixth grade tackle football are reminded that registration and equipment checkout will take place Tuesday, Aug. 8, at the Tiger Activity Center.

Sixth grade registration is set for 6 p.m., followed by the fifth-grade players.

Scholarships are available to offset the $100 registration fee and an equipment deposit of $140 is returned when equipment is checked back in at the conclusion of the season.

Practices are set for Aug. 14, 15 and 17, from 6 to 7:30 p.m. at Pepsi Field.
