Huron goes 1-3 against Pierre MS girls

HURON — The Huron Tiger 7th grade girls’ basketball team split a double header with Pierre on Tuesday, holding on for a 21-19 win in the “A” game, but falling 23-22 in the “B” contest
Jayla Schley led Huron to the win in the first game, scoring 11 points, while Ramsey Rozell added six.
In the second game, Huron got 12 points from Autumn Siedschlog, and four each from Madyson Metzgar and Jesse Mattke but came up one point short.
Huron is back in action Thursday, when the Tigers host Watertown.
The Governors took the “A” game 28-19. Huron was led by Reagan Bischoff’s seven points, while both Maggie Storm and Lennon Magness-Caudell added four points.
In the “B” game, Pierre edged the Tigers 21-20, despite 10 points from Huron’s Kinsley Armstrong.
Magdalina Lee added four for the Tigers.
