Huron seventh graders win Big 4 title

BROOKINGS — The Huron Middle School seventh-grade girls’ basketball team won the Big 4 Tournament Tuesday, defeating Mitchell in the opening round and then slipping past Watertown in the finals

Huron 33, Mitchell 21

The Tiger seventh-graders got 16 points from Ramsey Rozell and Jayla Schley added 15 as Huron defeated Mitchell to move into the finals.

Huron 28, Watertown 26

Schley scored 13 points to lead Huron past Watertown in the championship game. Rozell added eight points and Arian Pfitzer chipped in five points.

Autumn Siedschlag scored two points in each game.
