HURON — Members of the Huron Youth Leadership Council (HYLC) recently spoke with the Kiwanis Club of Huron to discuss their largest upcoming fundraiser, the annual Hegg Brothers Holiday Jam concert.
This event, set to take place Dec. 18 at the Huron High School Auditorium, will raise funds to support community initiatives and local philanthropic efforts in Huron.
The students shared that HYLC, composed of more than 50 active members from Huron High School, is committed to three core pillars: Community Involvement, Volunteerism, and Philanthropy. Through these values, the organization works to empower young people to make a lasting impact in their community.
HYLC is incredibly excited for the Hegg Brothers Holiday Jam, as these funds raised will help continue to support the important programs that make a difference in Huron, from scholarships to local projects. The Hegg Brothers Holiday Jam has become a tradition in Huron, offering an evening of festive music while providing an opportunity for the community to come together in support of a good cause.
This year’s concert promises to be great, with proceeds benefiting a variety of local youth programs and initiatives that align with HYLC’s mission.
In addition to the concert, HYLC will continue to engage in community service projects throughout the year, from volunteering at local events to funding programs that impact Huron’s youth.
