Iroquois American Legion elementary presentations

On Wednesday, the Bensely-Rounds American Legion Post 280 of Iroquois made Americanism presentations to Iroquois elementary students. The post presented the Kindergarten class with a flag sticker to wear and a flag sticker to take home. First graders received their own American flag, while second graders received rulers with flags on them, the pledge of allegiance, and pictures of the president of the United States of America. Fourth graders received flag comic books. Fifth graders received “Flag Etiquette” books and instruction on how to fold the US Flag.

At the same, the Bensely-Rounds American Legion Auxiliary Unit 280 of Iroquois presented student dictionaries to each of the third grade students in Iroquois and fourth grade students at the Pearl Creek Colony School. Above is the Iroquois  third-grade class, while Austin Waldner and Janessa Waldner from Pearl Creek are pictured below.
