The Iroquois preschoolers created gingerbread houses using milk cartons, royal icing and candies. They were displayed at the school and then sent home after the elementary Christmas concert. Each gingerbread house was uniquely designed only limited by 4-year-old imaginations.
Mary Wienbar is the preschool teacher and has been doing this activity each year with her students for the past 32 years. The preparation for the activity is well worth the excitement and smiles of the students.
