HURON — Joyce Rahder, 89, of Huron, passed away Monday, November 13, 2023, at Avantara-Huron.
Her funeral service will be held 10:30 a.m. Monday, Nov. 20, at Faith Alive Community Church.
Visitation will be an hour before the service. Her service will be livestreamed. Burial will follow in Restlawn Memory Gardens Cemetery.
Visitation will be from 5 to 7 p.m. Sunday at Kuhler Funeral Home, with her family present during that time.
Joyce leaves behind her children, Darwin (Louie) Rahder of Rapid City, Douglas (LaDonna) Rahder of Huron, KaLynn (Garrell) Pownell of Watertown and Karla (Harry) Larson of Meadow; her grandchildren, Sharee (Lance) Wold, Candace (Jerid) DeRouchey, Bridget (Elliot) Noteboom, Tessa (Jarvis) Hyatt, Cody Rahder, Heather Rahder and Katie (Austin Engel) Rahder; her step-grandchildren, Jessica (Kasey) Keller, Lyndsy (Robb Hugues) Kinghorn, Tina (Jeremy) Doohen and Alvina Larson; her great-grandchildren, Layke Wold, Kaytee Wold, Payton Wold, Connor (Avery) DeRouchey, Chase DeRouchey, Braydon Noteboom, Piper Noteboom, Jozie Hyatt, Jaron Hyatt, Hailey Rahder, Morgan Sharp, Jayden Alverson, Olivia Engel and Sofia Engel, born on Nov. 13, 2023; her step-great-grandchildren, Lilly Larson, Noah Keller, Finley Keller, Elsie Doohen, Emma Doohen; her great-great-grandchild, Harlow DeRouchey; her sisters, Adeline Reilly of Iroquois and Connie (Norm) Neuharth of Wolsey; her brother, Dannie Johnson of Wentworth; her sisters-in-law, Marsha Johnson of Pierre and Iris Johnson of Wolsey; and many nieces, nephews and friends.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Lee on May 28, 2003; her parents; her brothers, Jerry Johnson and Larry Johnson; her sister, Delores Wagner; her sister-in-law, Mary Johnson; and her brother-in-law, Dick Reilly.
