James Valley Christian School will present “The Sound of Music” for its annual dinner theater fundraiser planned tonight and Saturday night at the school.

JVC vocal instructor Lorena Blom is directing the production, with Katie Hohm cast as Maria and Dr. Matt Porter as the Captain.

The rest of the roles are played by JVC staff members, alumni of the school and about a dozen current students.

Many community members have volunteered to complete the large cast, as well as work on sets, costumes, sound, choreography, the dinner and more.

While the school is sold out of dinner tickets, many show-only tickets are still available on the website or by calling or stoppiing at the school.

Ticket sales deadlines are at noon both days of the production.

Everyone is invited to attend and join them for a great night of entertainment that will leave you singing “Do-Re-Mi” all the way home.
